American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her career began as an actor in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). She then played reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt and played a supporting role in the show that ran for a short time The Ex List. She was Kaylee who was a teenager Moira in the initial season of FX's American Horror Story. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on NBC's This Is Us. She has voiced various characters in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since 2019, she has starred in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge lived in Darien, Connecticut, until when she was 10 at which point she and her mom moved to California. There, they lived for a year before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge became interested in photography, acting, and singing at age 13. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue her acting career.
